Hearing aids Near me!

What do we need to consider for Hearing aids in Minnesota?

Do Minnesotans have different hearing needs than in other states?  Do we need to warm ours up or make sure they don’t freeze in the winter?  Our winters get so cold in Minnesota that when we breath in sometimes our nose stick together.  And our ears freeze especially when the wind blows into our canals.  We must wear hats.  Do the hats interfere with the hearing aids?  Back in the day we use to get feedback, which is a whistle that comes from the hearing aid when we put anything near our hearing aid.  Now we can wear hats without feedback!  Hearing aids should not feedback as easily anymore and if you do get feedback come to us and we will help.   We know what you need to survive the extreme winter cold with hearing health.

In the hot weather of summer:

In the heat you need to protect your hearing aids from Moisture.  We have all types of dry kits!

Traveling from the West End Suburbs of the Twin Cities:

If you are coming from the West side of the Metropolitan Twin Cities, the travel is easy.  Take Highway 7 to Lake Street.   Pass Bede Maka Ska, formally known as Lake Calhoun and continue to Dupont or some street that will bring you to 28th Street.  You will be in Uptown.  You will not travel to downtown.  Don’t take Lake Street all the way to Nicollet as KMART is in the way and you have to jog around KMART.  We are on the right side of the Nicollet, across from Christos Greek Restaurant.    West Side suburbs like St. Louis Park, Hopkins, Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, Chaska, Chanhassen, Prior Lake and even Wayzata can travel this route.   We can help figure out your winter hearing needs.

Traveling from the 394 Corridor:

If you are traveling from West 394 corridor suburbs than you can take 394 East Traveling east and you can get off at Dunwoody Blvd.  Take Dunwoody Blvd to Lyndale and head South until 24 th street.  Take a left 24th and at Nicollet take a right.  Two blocks and we are on the left side of the road, you will see our Chears Sign Parking and our own lot.  So if you live in Wayzata, Minnetonka, St. Louis Park, Golden Valley, Plymouth you can take this route.  We do have a “mini” chears location in St. Louis Park that you can have follow-ups there.

Traveling from the North of the Twin Cities:

Do you live in the North Suburbs?  Suburbs like Coon Rapids, Robbinsdale,  Blaine, Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center, Fridley and want hearing aids that are the best for you near you.  So easy to get to us in Minneapolis, centrally located for you.   Get to 100 and take Hwy 100 traveling South!  Than take 394 traveling East.  Exit Dunwoody and follow to Lyndale. Take a Right on Lyndale and a left on 24th Street.  Take a right on Nicollet.  Easy for you!  We have lots of people who come see us as far north as Ham Lake and Andover!  Let’s keep your ears from freezing and hearing through your hat!

Traveling from the South Metropolitan area:

We better now forget our favorite southern suburbs like Richfield, Edina, Bloomington, Eagan, Inver-grove heights, Burnsville, Prior Lake, Lakeville, Apple valley and lets not forget Shakopee, MN.  If you are coming as close as Edina, it is easy because you can take Lake Street into Uptown area.  Richfield, MN is easy to travel to Minneapolis by taking 35W.  Eventually Lake Street exit will be open but in 2019 exit off 46th street off 35W.

St. Paul, Hearing near you:

Let’s not forget about our sweet city next to us, St. Paul, MN.  We love people who visit us from St. Paul and we love to help people near St. Paul like Highland Park and Maplewood!  And if you live in Woodbury or other surrounding areas in St. Paul, Twin Cities, take 94 West to Hennepin/Lyndale Exit.  Head South on Lyndale and turn left on 24th Street.  Turn right on Nicollet and again you will find us on the left, East side of the road.  You will see our parking sign and our own parking lot.
